Overview
258 Cory – Zoom AV Room is a medium-sized hybrid meeting space equipped with an 85″ display, a Zoom Room system with Yealink conference bar. The controller is located on the table and the room supports both wireless sharing and wired BYOD connections (HDMI + USB). This space is intended for EECS faculty, staff, and approved research groups.
- Capacity: 6–10 people
- Use cases: Hybrid meetings, seminars, research reviews, small workshops
- Location: 2nd Floor, Cory Hall
How to Reserve the Room
Reservations are made through bCal.
Add the room’s calendar address in your event:

Quick Start Guide
Start or Join a Meeting
- Use the Zoom Room Controller on the table.
- Select Start or Join.
- Use the on-screen keypad or select the meeting from the room calendar.
Share Your Screen — Wireless
- Tap Share Screen on the controller.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to share via the Zoom app or room connection.
Share Your Screen — Wired (BYOD)
- Connect to the table panel:
- HDMI — sends video to the display.
- USB — connects your laptop to the Yealink camera/microphone for local Zoom/Teams calls.
- When using USB for camera/mic, select the Yealink device in your meeting app’s audio/video settings.
End the Meeting
- Tap End Meeting on the controller.
- Select End Meeting for All to close the session.

Overview
212 Cory – Zoom AV Room is a hybrid meeting space equipped with dual 65″ displays and a Neat Bar Zoom Room system. The room is designed for simple and reliable video conferencing. The Zoom controller is wall-mounted for easy access, and the room does not include wired BYOD laptop connections. This space is intended for EECS faculty, staff, and approved groups.

- Use cases: Hybrid meetings, research discussions, interviews, remote collaboration

How to Reserve the Room

- Location: 4th Floor, north end of hallway, Cory Hall
How to Reserve the Room
Reservations are made through bCal.

- VGA and HDMI cables are available, and if your laptop such as Macbook has lightning or USB-C connectors, you will need to use the dongles attached to the existing cables to connect to either the VGA or HDMI cables.
- Please be reminded that it may take up to a minute for the signal to be detected successfully before it can be displayed to the screen
- – Or – use the Pixie controller to manually toggle the connection
